Extra-ordinary! This man has a brilliant innovative view on the world and has created his owner absurd little place full of gimmicks and curiosities. Expect unexpected little things that make you smile. Closed on Wednesdays.

ABSOLUTE MUST SEE! This is not your average art gallery and the $5 entry to the upper gallery will be the best value for money you have ever had.
If you drive past you will definitely regret it later when everyone you meet asks "Did you visit The Lost Gypsy?" When you tell the you didn't they will exclaim "Oh no!! You missed the most clever and funny art in New Zealand!!".
BUT be aware that the gallery, coffee kart, and food kart are closed over winter (may till october). In summer the gallery is open six days a week, most Wednesdays it is shut.response / report this review -

Came last week to get look around after hearing about your art years ago.
Desperate to have a look in person.
Fantastic!!
People, you should go to this gallery if you are anywhere in the Southern Hemisphere, it is unique.
I know everywhere says marketing crap ""unique, Awesome etc etc", but there is nothing else like this ANYWHERE.
Also there is great coffee and food.

I have visited the caravan multiple times and find lots of small things that I had either missed the last time, or have been added sine. The caravan is free, but the extra R13 area is also well worth the $5 entrance fee
