  If I were able to give 0 stars, I would! No one at reception when we arrived though it was supposed to be open. After asking another staff, he told us that there should be a noticeboard in the office. Something small which was behind the desk, hardly readable, and how should anyone know about this? If you have opening times, you should be at the reception, and not a notice-board! Furthermore, one of the 2 fridges didn't work as one of the knobs was completely ripped off. The other one was full of alcohol. So, please explain to us how we should store our things? We brought food for some amount and were not willing to let it go off just because a hostel doesn't care. We have been to hostels with much higher standards, much cleaner, and with staff actually working there. Sorry: what were we paying for? An absolute no go! Not recommended at all. In the end, we found something better to stay.

  A nice, small, Mom and Pop type hostel in a good location. It is between two very nice cafes, and one door down from a cute little laundry, two blocks from the main part of town. The internet was good.
  We rented a private double with ensuite bathroom, but there are private, family, and dorm rooms available.
  The community area is very nice with a wood burning stove, sofas, tables, and a fully accessorized kitchen.
  I slept very well both nights we were there. The showers were good. There were windows that could be opened. There was a covered porch outside our room, and the common room that would be convenient if it rained. There was parking.
  The sheets were thin though the comforter was adequate, there was no chair or table in our room, or any mirror.
  I would stay at the Lazy Shag again.

  I just called the Lazy Shag to see about staying there next week. After my first question was answered with a 'no, we don't' I was then told 'BYE!'. As I was saying 'wait, wait, wait!' because I had more questions, the lady just hung up. I found that pretty rude and for that reason I shan't be staying!

  I didn't like the location There are better and closer hostels to center of town. The boss wasn't friendly at all.
