The food was very nice, unfortunately the customer service on the day I went wasn't very good.

Nice simple dinner menu, which they have mastered superbly. One waitress this evening, who was run off her feet, but did an excellent job. Steak was great, seafood chowder is to die for.

Good food, good service, reasonable prices, very friendly and helpful waitress the night we were there (4 Oct 2017), good clean bathrooms, good tap beers, mediocre wine selection, nice old wooden building, but sparse plain interior décor creates no ambience

Staff were great. Sign outside says a dozen oysters on Sundays for $18.90. There's nothing on the sign telling you that price is only if you order a main. Nice, fresh oysters though and a cosy fireplace.

Went to a 50th wedding anniversary and vow renewing here on Friday night..Great ambience, everyone including other patrons nice and friendly and the good platters were very tasty and moreish. Well worth a visit if you want a warm comfortable atmosphere.

Very fresh oysters and fast service. $25 two course lunch is good value if you're hungry however didn't love their seafood chowder - the freshly toasted ciabatta however was amazing.
