Great food but not as cheap as we'd hoped $59 for two dishes and a side and you pay BYO per glass. Also service was average we asked three times to get served and felt like we were imposing on the waitresses. Also went to pay and stood five minutes waiting by till, completely ignored. In their defense, it was busy and food yummy.

Best Malaysian cuisine in town. Fabulous food but always very crowded and noisy. Can't really have an easy conversation while dining there.

Love it.. we like to visit once in a while to enjoy the beautifully cooked KK chicken, garlic beans, Singapore noodles and more. Seating outside isn't so bad now that the heaters and shades are installed. Popular place.

Food is amazing and yummy! Prices are very good! Fish soup noodle is delicious. Highly recommended if you would like to try Malay local taste!

Nice place for a tasty Malaysian meal. Stopped by to get takeaway and all the tables were already full. Even though they already occupy twice the space they did before they are always full. When you try the food you see why.
Really good food and quite a few options on the menu so plenty to try. Try to book beforehand otherwise try your luck and hope for the best.response / report this review -

The food is no doubt really good here. But the service i found most times is really bad! When we called to make a reservation for 2- they said they dont take reservations for 2 and then when we arrived, the place was full and asked us of we had a reservation. To which i explained that they didnt want to take my reservation request for 2!. The other times i have eaten here some (not all) of the waiters have been quite rude. I think if they could provide a more consistent level of service to customers..it would be a 5 star rating for me.

I've been a regular patron of this restaurant, but recently it's changed hands to a Chinese crowd that has no idea how to make Malaysian food.
The price is high, the food very disappointing. Even though the taste isn't right, they could have been a bit more generous with the meat/seafood etc. Instead, lots of noodles and nearly no meat. Won't be back again - hopefully it changes hands once more to people who actually are passionate about food.response / report this review -

A definitely not coming back ever again experience!! It literally took them forever to get the food out AND surprisingly the chicken was still cold inside???!!! Although, they did offer us a new curry chicken. BUT, who could wait for another decades long seriously. So we had to ask the waiter to get it reheated. Its probably the worst Malaysian restaurant I have ever tried in Auckland. God knows how much I love Malaysian food but this time it turned out to be a great disappointment. :(

After sitting at the table waiting an hour with 2 young kids, food still didn't arrive. We asked 2 other waiters in that span of time and they said they will check but never came back to tell us what is going on. By that 1 hour mark we asked another waiter and he came back and said they will cook your food now. No apologies! Extremely bad service and did I mention the place looked filthy. We wouldn't have decided to eat there if we didn't have 2 starving kids and it was the closest option. little did we know we had to wait an hour with no food. Probably good for us to not eat food from this dirty restaurant anyways.
