Great taste, services and environment. Monday they have two for one meal (5:00-6:30) at the moment
Great place to go for dinner, Great service, friendly staff. We ordered popcorn chicken and their speciality burrito Both are delicious as hell would highly recommend this place. Thank you for such a sweet night and delicious food.
Great Mexican food. The frenetic and loud atmosphere only adds to the enjoyment. The staff was very kind to my young child.
Had a meal here, food was amazing, probably go as far to say it was the best Mexican I've had.
Quick service too!
Only one problem, the soft drinks were flat.
Great food but downstairs area feels a little too packed! Would still go back as the food was nice and service was good as well!
We had a lovely time last night.. Excellent service, scrumptious food, beautiful venue with homely feeling with the kids. Thanks team for giving us your best service. Special thanks to the manager "Hanna" best coordinator, who put together my husbands 40th birthday with ease. Love and regards Michell
This iconic Mexican restaurant in a prime location of Wellington has a very odd but warming layout. The prices are acceptable but I feel like this place is over-hyped a lot by Wellingtonians. Their food tastes great but definitely not the greatest (or maybe I was just expecting more from the hype?). There are better locations for such Mexican foods. Also it takes a fairly long time for food to reach the table. The staff is really friendly which makes the experience feel much better.
Located on the corner of Cuba and Vivian Streets in Wellington social centre. Friendly and prompt service, with great value meals. We'd arrived early, but a steady flow of diners soon had the place humming. Being vegetarians we were well served with options. Enjoyed a jug of marguerita. Great evening, our second in 6 months, and will come again when visiting Wellington.
Small slice of Mexico on Cuba street. The atmosphere of this restaurant creates a memorable experience. The interior is colourful and full of character. The food is fresh, flavourful, and delicious. They have a variety of tequilas to try, and the restaurant is full of life. The service wasn't fantastic, but fairly similar to most other NZ restaurants, and good considering how busy it was when I was there.
One of the best dining experiences. If you like mexican you will love this place. Claudia was our waitress she was very friendly and super helpful.
The place has an odd but cosy setting, with an upstairs and a downstairs area. There are plenty of tables for small and larger groups too.
They have quite an extensive menu with lots of different options including beef, pork, chicken and seafood. I had the Flying Burrito and it was a well packed pocket of goodness, and a decent amount of meat. Best of all, it was great eat!
Loud crowded venue where you can't hear the person next to you. Staff weren't particularly helpful or knowledgeable. Overall unpleasant experience.
