My favourite little cafe! Consistently delicious coffee, yummy food and a cozy atmosphere. This place is absolutely the heartbeat of Takaka!

We got a large deluxe pizza, 10$ more than the classic but it had heaps of artichoke and toppings which were great. The pizza was pretty big, we were full with two slices left, and it was quality crust. Nothing to complain about

I went there once, for diner, as my boyfriend and I were staying in Takaka for the night. That was in April 2017, and we had a half and half pizza, which was simply amazing ! Especially the fish side ! Service was great, and fast, atmosphere was warm and cozy. I would recommend to anyone visiting Takaka ! I also remember they're open for brunch and lunch 😉

Food was awesome. If the fire was cranked up a bit more to make it warmer at the tables it would have been better. Will be back though!!!

Delicious pizza with amazing flavours - we tried the Seafood, Anatoki Salmon and the Southern Style one. All very good!
Kids-friendly place with lots of toys & books around - our toddlers were happy and so were we! Would definitely come back.response / report this review -

Great food, lively ambiance, sometimes quite busy requiring a wait to get food. Gluten free options available but not guaranteed to celiac standard. As a celiac I've only had a couple small reactions, but the carrot cake is worth the risk.

Very good service, wait staff seemed genuinely warm and friendly. Though it was not a busy night. Nice vibe and interesting local photos on the walls. Food was fine, a little disappointing that they had run out of a few things so we were not able to order. Would go again.
