  Great location with views over lake tarawera. 20 minutes from rotorua . Clean and tidy. Good venue for wedding and reception

  Fantastic venue for a wedding. Perfect setting for the day. Facilities all fantastic, and the view is one of a kind. Great communication from Shelley. Make sure you consider this spot for your wedding!

  I've photographed many weddings at The Black Barn and it's always an amazing day had by all.   I'm a professional photographer and have shot weddings at Black Barn Tarawera. Not only are the staff super accommodating and friendly but the venue itself is stunning. The views are incredible and there are so many amazing photo locations on site. Definitely would recommend The Black Barn if you're needing a wedding venue.
