Have to agree with the others re: lack of customer service. Have only been here a couple of times, but was fairly put off by how unfriendly the staff (in general) wereseems pretty snobby here. I'd recommend Royal Siam over this anyway (better food and cheaper too)..

My go-to restaurant. Love the food! Friendly staff, excellent portion sizes, and not overpriced. I order as I walk out of work in Onehunga and it is often waiting for me 10 minutes later. (This is before they get busy of course).

Thai Archer always delivers a wonderful dining experience for special occasions. Staff is very warm and attentive and food service is very prompt. The cuisine is always delicious, served to your spice palate and we always leave well sated and happy.

Tasty food, good price. Portion size is large so can last two meals if ordering takeaway. Waiting time can be up to 40mins but they will warn you when ordering. Friendly service

The food was medium good but when we request the same dish on second time it was not with same flavour. Just added some more soy sauce Moreover over the service was not great. They were not welcoming the kids. The attitude towards the kids were not that good. The staff were restricted the kids talking louder and playing each other while waiting for the dish. Meanwhile from the other table people where laughing n talking very loud. As a parent I thought of coming out from the restaurant few times because of the staffs attitude or racism. I felt like to advice them to keep a board outside no entry for kids.. I expect more standard from the staff without the discrimination of age , culture and ethnicity. Thank you

Great thai food - maybe a little sweeter for some peoples liking so maybe ask for less sugar in your dishes. We enjoyed our time here.

I live across the street from Thai Archer. The owners are skilled in Thai food, passionate, invested, and take pride in their restaurant. You can find them actively cooking and getting feedback from customers. The prices are reasonable, the food is quality, and the atmosphere is intimate. Give this place a try!
My husband and I had the Siew Whan Chicken (Sweet Soy Stir-fried) and the Pahd Thai. Also for appetizers we had Thai Murder Wings and Coconut Shrimp.response / report this review -

I was so disappointed with one of they dish (jungli) . just could eat it taste horrible, tasted like chicken cooked in water wit lots of lemon grass , when I asked the waitress if they can add coconut cream to bring it to taste , instead she telling me she will charge me for extra dish , just to add half of coconut cream to same dish , I hav to pay double the price for same dish . I felt as for them customer satisfactory is not important, . next tI me when I am around they area I will buy half of dozen of coconut cream and gift them . stil the price will be less then what she was asking me to pay .. never dinning there anymore , 😑
