Rooms are nice and the staff were very friendly. Bar was great but food was average. The room we got looked on to the parking lot. This wasn't the what I was expecting when I looked at the booking pictures. Free parking is nice. Beds were comfortable. Heated tile floor. Shower is funky. Overall great but the view to the parking lot.

Very awesome motel. Very luxurious. Some of the rooms have an awesome view unfortunately we booked late so had a view if the carpark. But a very beautiful motel. The restaurant overlooks the bay and Tauranga main street is 5 minutes walk. If your a big eater there is an awesome fish and chip shop just towards town. The food was lovely but a little bit small. There is a nice pool also and a jetty where you can arrange for a boat to pick you up. Beautiful place.

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay recently. Fantastic food and friendly wait staff. My room had a view of the car park, which was disappointing, so make sure you understand what view your room when you book. Other reviews have mentioned the rail line, but I didn't hear it. Car parking can be a problem. Good wifi, large rooms. I'd definitely stay there again.

Great apartment (11) but.horrible car park and train line view.
That train line is about 20m away and becomes a real issue at 05.00 when the freight thunders through your pillow on its way to the container port. Add that to rush hour trucksIt desperately needs its double glazing updated and windows re-fitted.
Don't expect to sleep in this room although it might be different on the other side of the corridor.
Front staff were utterly unhelpful (a theme in reviews here), 'nothing we can do'. Whereas they can't adjust the freight schedule, the windows might fit or an attempt could be made to move us.
The car park is convenient for other people's cars but you may be parked on a grass verge 200m down the road. There are 4 or 5 cars constantly circling hoping for luck.
Looking through the reviews there are obviously some really painful to stay in rooms and some magical ones. We got the former.
Looking forward to going home tomorrow for a rest. I now own a bumper pack of ear plugs - they should come with the room.

Customer Service is shocking - tried to book accommodation and in the end gave up. Not helpful. Such a shame, as have stayed numerous other times and is a lovely hotel, but this has really put me off.

We stayed in the beautiful Trinity Wharf Suite in the run up to our wedding and for our wedding night. The suite itself had floor to ceiling glass windows with incredible views, the bathroom was huge with a double spa bath, and the bed was really comfy. The room was perfect for getting ready in on the morning of the big day, and I seriously miss waking up to those views over the harbour! Thank you to the lovely staff for looking after us and being so welcoming.

the room not booked as what it is prensenred in the picture?maybe the fault of booking agent? air condition controlled by reception computer! no temp control from the room! what a stupid design? do i make phone call every time i want to adjust the temp? worst holiday experience ever! not worth the money! Paid over $300 a night!

Although the hotel scenery doesn't look as good as what the picture advertised, the room I was in is considered above average with a king bed that can be split into double and the bathroom comes with a bathtub, a fully stocked mini bar and there's a safe box with a bathrobe in the cabinet. The bed and blanket is really warm which causes my sleepless night and there are noises from outside the corridor, people talking and going in and out of their room. Most of the normal room (not apartment) don't have a good view, but the apartment does.

Had a terrible experience. Unfriendly staff. Room was not as expected. Plus there was additional charges which we were not told about. These charges were not even mentioned in terms and conditions. Upon inquiry hotel staff spoke to us very rudely reluctant to help. Were charged nearly additional $200 for nothing. So basically ended up paying $650 for just a standard room. Wouldn't recommend this hotel. Just a ripoff!! Very disappointed.

Our room was not what was pictured on there website. Horrible shower design, boring room no colour bit like a boys flat. A plant would have been nice. Huge private deck, with nothing on it but a crappie table and chairs covered In stains again a plant would be nice, an umbrella and a deck chair to sunbathe on or some bean bags like by the pool . Couldn't even smoke. I would not stay here again for 2nights for over 6 hundred dollars and nothing complementary, extremely disappointed. Definitely will be telling my friends and family to go else where. The highlight, the friendly girl who checked us out. Two feathers tattooed behind her ear and glasses . She was awesome. My partner and I both commented she was the best part of our stay. Warning of the foul smell at low tied would be nice to,really gross!
