Always friendly and the popcorn is amazing. Some cinemas have better seating than others. But you know which one your in when you book. Online booking system is great too.

A good cinema that always has the latest films on a wide array of screens. There is also a great selection of treats to eat in the film.

Well considering that it's the ONLY cinema in town you're not spoilt for choice. Saying that, it's great to see a concerted effort to make the experience as enjoyable as possible. Not only that they are always up to date with the latest releases.

Clean, tidy, well presented cinema, with helpful, and friendly staff. Went to see a 3D film, unfortunately the first 7 min of the film was out of focus and had to find an usher to alert the projectionist. Problem was rectified promptly.

The best and only cinema in town. 8 or so different screens large and small. Mainstream, but happy to have it. Decent (true) Italian restaurant attached.

Walked in to a massive que, but quickly discovered their self service kiosk, which was brilliant and quick, as all we were wanting was tickets. The theater got hot and uncomfortable towards the end of the movie, but it was sold out, and after advising them, they are looking into the issue. Other than that, really good experience!

Good number of rooms to cater for movies of all tastes. Automated ticketing system and efficient staff make booking fast. Snack bar is alright but I recommend sneaking upstairs for a pizza ;)

Terrible customer service, staff are very rude. All of them seemed to have snaring expressions and were very hostile towards me. Chairs are very small and uncomfortable. There is not enough leg room so you basically have to climb over other people's knees to get to your seat if they don't stand up for you to get past which can be very awkward if you loose you balance and fall forward or stand/trip on there feet. The people in the row behind you are also way to close which feels like an invasion of personal space and also makes it very easy to hear them talking to each other while the movie is screening. Seats are also not high enough up from the row in front so you end up spending the whole duration of the film with half of the screen blocked by the persons head in front of you. Also there is no ventilation in the theatre which makes it very stuffy. They have some stupid rule about not bring your own food in so your stuck spending $7.20 on a small popcorn which is absolutely crazy. Tickets are also really overpriced ended up spending $32 on tickets for my mum and myself. Overall the whole experience left me feeling really pissed off a complete money grab. Cannot recommend it at all :(. 1 star.

Went to see Rogue One. Good size screen with good quality picture and sound, also had comfortable chairs. No problem with keeping cool however there was only another 5 people in the room, so I can't comment of what it will be like when it is full. Had to pick a seat which isn't my thing, prefer a first come first serve basis.

Old uncomfortable chairs, very small rooms with no ventilation system you'll see yourself on heavily breathing place with all around people coughing, ..
Only one good room with is the cine1 but lucky if passing the movie that you want to watch.
Not to mention that they have no interest on listening to the public asking for separated queue line for drinks, .. Just horrible place to enjoy the good movies, ..
I enjoy good experience when go on the movies but not in the Nelson one.
Definitely not recommended. But also not other option in Nelson.
