Wandered here while stopping through town and were happy with our choice. We all had very good local brews. I wish I had done a flight to try more. I ordered a cajun pizza which was on special and was excellent! I savored every bite. The outside seating is also dog friendly. They brought water out for the pups that showed up while we were eating. Friendly service, tasty lunch, and good value.

    Pretty meh.

Beer is pretty good, served by mildly grumpy people though. Chicken jerk wrap was made to a pretty low standard, the one we got was anyway.

Popped in here for a quick dessert and glass of wine. I had been told that this was a great local bar and it did not disappoint! I had one of their excellent chocolate bourbon balls with a glass of great NZ rose and people-watched from the corner. Initially the bartender I got came off a bit salty and surly, but he warmed up a bit in the end. The other bartender was a bit more jovial and engaging and by the time I left you could tell this was a regular spot for some of the locals as well as a place recommended by the locals to visitors in the area. They looked like they had a good menu, if I had been in Nelson an additional night, I would have come back for lunch or dinner.

Such good beer! These guys really know their stuff! The Tasman is sooooo good! I never knew a lighter beer could be so complex and flavorful. Keep it up guys! Well worth the visit when you stay in Nelson. Food is good too!

First time there. It was busy with a good feel. A great place to go for a drink after work or a mountain bike ride. Friendly staff that work well under pressure and still have that friendly welcoming smile. A great place to go.

Fantastic service. We had the vegetarian pizza and they were happy to make it vegan for us (no cheese but with extra sauce). It was delicious. They have a huge range of their own craft beers. Staff are friendly.
