  Came here for one of their deals & the free eye test for AA members was a bonus. Go for the most expensive lenses if you are getting progressive lenses. You will be disappointed with anything less. They did a great job putting a pair of my spectacles into shape after I sat on them. Make sure the glasses are cleaned before you walk away.

  I got Great service by the lovely staff here. I was seen almost immediately and had a thorough eye test albeit bit quick .I ended up getting the 2 for one deal which was good value .

  Paradoxical: excellent eye examination by a client-friendly optician and later service, but the shop's effort''s have been badly let down by a tardy follow up - the agreed 12 month purchase was mistakenly processed as a three month one. CFL allegedly chased SpecSavers Lambton Quay Wellington for the 12 month paperwork since some time in November 2016. But allegedly no response from the store. CFL tell me the store will not be paid until they comply. I hope this will not impact in any way on myself. In the meantime I am becoming increasingly frustrated. I may not be back for further business with SpecSavers.

  A fast and efficient service for an eye appointment. Technology has moved on in the last 5 years, so if you are looking for a more personal touch then this isn't the place for you.
  Not at all pushy on glasses sales, left me to browse at my leisure with no pressure to buy.

  What poor customer experience.
  I'm in NY on holiday and my glasses have broken. I ask a son in NZ to phone Spec Savers in Lambton Quay so that they can send my recently obtained prescription to me via email. He rings and is told that it will be done by the end of the day. In the end (sick of waiting) I have to go to a NY optometrist and get another prescription (US$70 later!).
  I'm now back home with my new glasses. Still no email

  I found service to be great in every wayeye examine, glass frame selection and help with choices, follow through on orderand received order on time. Highly recommend,
