This place is great. Stopped in on a whim since we were mixing Mexican food. I was very impressed with the Ceviche Taco - probably the single best taco I have ever had. They also served the food with a variety of hot sauces and the Kiwi Fruit hot sauce was spectacular. Also they have $6 beers on tap. Great place, great food, great service. I would definitely go back.

I came in 2013 and had a wonderful experience! The people were so nice; and the food was so tasty! We came back twice. So on my visit back to Queenstown in July I thought it would be wonderful to visit my favourite restaurant in Queenstown. I WAS WRONG! The decor hadn't much changed, but the food had. The staff ignored my father when he wanted to get some sour cream for his main, they mucked up at least half of our order. I got vegetarian instead of the meat I wanted for my nachos. Disappointed.

Simply the worst Mexican I've ever had. Go to Four Square supermarket nearby, buy an Old El Paso burrito kit, some fresh vegetables, and make it yourself. Guaranteed to be done quicker, taste much better, and be cheaper than here.
Honestly, the food was so slow to come out, and was not worth the wait. I had the 'burrito'. The beef was absolutely flavourless, seems to have had zero seasoning, the beans seemed like they were from a can, again flavourless, and the cawslaw again seems like it was from a bag, dull and flavourless.
Mexican food should be vibrant and flavourfull. This was dull and flavourless. Seriously hard to comprehend how a place can get it so so wrong. Felt like we were conned here. The price was also a joke.
    One star is too generous.

With so many great options in queenstown, would not recommend this one. Most bland Mexican food I've ever had. Tacos lacked flavour, and salsa was just tomato paste from the supermarket. On a positive note kiwi margarita was delicious.

Decor and service is nice. Not trying to be a food snob by any means but this is not even slightly authentic or good. If you ever had any Mexican food in North or South America, you're going to be very disappointed. There was cauliflower in my enchilada and I think that says enough alone. Spanish rice was bland, beans were firm and undercooked. If anything, our visit is more of a funny story. I know Hispanic food can be difficult to make on an island that can be shy of resources but with some research and effort, I believe it can be done better.

Super friendly staff, and great vibe to the place! The taste of the food wasn't incredible but nonetheless a great meal.

Fabulous place. Food was wonderful. So flavourful. Love the decor, staff and atmosphere. Our group of 14 was well taken care of. It may or may not be "authentic" (never had authentic, so cannot compare), but i loved every morsel.

The tortillas are hand made on site which is fantastic. The food was nice and came or pretty quickly.

Came here with a group of 7 and had a great time. Our waitress was awesome and the food while more standard TexMex fare was definitely better than other places. My burrito was big and packed full of delicious pork. The lamb and kiwifruit taco was pretty darn great as well.

Super friendly and attentive staff. Terrible and expensive food. the guacamole was especially tasteless, small and overpriced.
