  Can’t compare the hot chocolate I had in Madrid with this, but no other place nearby to satisfy the craving. Staff is friendly. The hot chocolate with chilly is nice. Menu didn’t look that good. Good place for a drive and chat.

  Looked okay. Was informed the menu they had out they weren't serving. Disappointing. Wasn't busy so no excuse leaving it up

  My second visit to this cafe and chocolate shop and both times I've been disappointed. The cafe feels crowded and the food options are just a bit confusing and not great. It feels a bit run down too. The only plus is the special hot chocolate.
  
  The chocolate shop itself, it's just not good quality chocolate and yet it is priced and presented as if it were. I think they've marketed themselves very well, but I would recommend to avoid as there are far better chocolatiers in NZ, even in Hastings!

  Fabulous range of delicious cabinet food and brunch/lunch menu. Good range of gluten free options also. Must try their extreme hot chocolate. Lovely rural setting.
