Salmon Chowder was good. Cafe located in a cosy neighourhood.
Delicious food and fantastic service. A to-be-repeated dining experience. We will definitely be back.
Best place to have a quick lunch if you're traveling to lake Tekapo. The salmon chowder is highly recommend!
A short stopover in Twizel and found this restaurant. Delicious smoked salmon chowder - so yummy. Braised beef cheek pasta is also suprising good with soft tender beef cheek on thick pasta.

The pizza is terrible. If you are thinking NYC pizza, this is something else. Everything is slobbered with sweet sauce like BBQ or pineapple. The crust is also not good.
Nice atmosphere, good food. Salmon platter was very good for sharing. Some items a bit pricey. Pizza is a good option. They have a great selection.
Not too much to expect in a small town like that. It had good interior, and the fireplace made it feel cozy. The pizzas were good and were not the common cheap fast food quality, as they had bunch of ingrediants on them. After a long day, a pizza and Fries will fill you up if you don't feel like cooking.
Amazing food! Fresh salmon and chowder was excellent as was lamb rack. Definitely worth the stop if you are touring
Good food, nice service & reasonable prices in a good town.
The owner was really generous and allowed my brother Pango to make a travelling piano concert there and gave us a dinner and beer. A salmon pizza and Burkes extra pale ale were delicious. Nice atmosphere and the staff was super friendly. Definitely a lovely place to visit in Twizel. Thanks!
We dropped in mid afternoon for a coffee, hot chocolate and muffin. All good with exceptional service. Decided to return in the evening for dinner and we were very happy with that decision, the Pizza was delicious. The atmosphere was great with live piano. Thanks Shawtys, if we're back in town we'll be sure to return.
Just dropped in for a coffee and was pleased with the look and the atmosphere of the place. The coffee was top quality and the service was prompt. The reputation is enhanced by the number of locals here as well.
A cosy cafe restaurant and bar with friendly staff and a great selection of craft beers.
We weren't too hungry so we ordered pizzas and while the toppings were great, the crust was a just a bit too thick for our liking (I'll put it down to preference). There is a lot more to the menu beyond pizza though. Well worth a try if you are in Twizel.
