My wife and I visited on 2 December last year (2015) and had the best evening meal of all our 30 days in New Zealand. I am posting this a year later in homage to those of you who made this possible for us, and who are now suffering the tragedy of the quake and its after effects
Many things about our fabulous trip come back to remind us a year later, but nothing so evocative as that night at Cellar View, the warmth of Karen's welcome, the service, and the stellar cuisine. This place is awesome! Nice and sweet staffs!
Those homemaking garlic bread is perfect match with their soup of the day👍🏻
Salad got lots of cheese on top was yummy, the toast bread under mushroom smells good even before comes on the table.
Honestly we actually don't have appetite before food come out, but we clean up those plates after it did.
Besides, the most highlight of this place is the fantastic ocean view.
Got "VIP" service as we are there early.
This is a cafe you shouldn't miss out for a trip in New Zealand. Personal recommended come after seeing the wales in the morning🙂

P.S no more than NZ$80 for four of us in this meal, for all you see in our photos😍

What a great place! The owner Karen was just amazing. She set out to make sure our evening was special from the start to the end and the restaurant atmosphere is lovely.

Doesn't get much better than this. We scored the night we went as we randomly picked a quieter night. Had the best time with my wife and I being treated to astonishingly good service. Food tastes like it was made with love and the owners couldn't be friendlier. We will definitely be back and can't wait to check out the view during the day!

My mother and I had the most beautiful, memorable evening here. We sat overlooking the sea, staff are welcoming like old friends, the food is devine - Succulent fresh fish, tasty salad, cheese platters. Courtesy bus to collect you from town and drive you to and from the restaurant. I would go here again and again if I didn't live in Sydney! Im coming back for sure one day.
