  Absolutely delicious! We had Terekihi Fillets which were beautiful and fresh, homemade chips which were perfect. The staff were incredibly friendly. It's hard to find old school traditional fish n chips like this. We will definitely be back.

  I love their chips but the other options are less than optimal. The shop does appear run down and grubby but does have the appropriate hygiene ratings

  Absolutely the best fish and chip shop in Upper Hutt. The staff are friendly and polite. They use real chips (not like the crap frozen supermarket type ones most shops have) and fresh fish. I buy from here nearly every week. I usually buy from here on Thursday night instead of Friday as they get REALLY busy on Fridays and it can take 20 - 30 minutes to get your order. The #1 $8.50 pack is good value (chips x 1, battered fish x 1, hot dog x 1, potato fritter x 1) or the crumbed fish fillet & chips (the fillet may be too big for some people so you may prefer an ordinary sized piece of crumbed fish).

  Although it's a bit of a travel I'd go here any day over any other fish & chip shop in Upper Hutt. By far the BEST chips I've had anywhere - none of those pre frozen mushy-inside chips.. back to REAL old school chips! Fish is usually fresh and never overcooked.

  Not bad. Will buy from them again. Shop seems a little grubby though, and flies are never a good sign.
