My favorite local. Great range of beer and a cozy atmosphere. Food is a bit unimaginative.

We were driving around looking for a warm and family-friendly place to eat on the labour day Monday holiday. Not much was open and then we stumbled on the best looking Irish pub we'd ever seen.
Walking in it was buzzing, the fire was crackling and the beer was pouring. The food had an amazing aroma and I knew we'd made the right choice.
We ordered the Beef and Guiness pie (pictured), chicken pasta special and a kids meal. The pie was golden on top, crunchy pastry that flaked off. Inside it was piping hot and full of Guiness flavour. One of the best pies I've ever had.
The best part for families is the games cupboard. Filled with stuff for kids. They'll be entertained all night.

Damn. This place has amazing food. I got Hearty Beef and Guiness Pie and got my chips changed to mash. Delicious best I've had in NZ. Highly Recommend!!! My husband got Scotch Fillet Steak and Mushroon Sauce. Steak was beautifully cooked pink in the middle and sauce was to die for. Yum!!! Highly recommend. Kid friendly as well an array of colouring books, board games heaps of stuff to keep them occupied. Highly recommend this pub!!!

Quick tasty bar meals, good range of meals to choose from. Friendly staff. Lovely building in and out. Can sit inside or outside. Clean toilet's.
