Forget about other dishes. The calamari with chilly sauce was the best ever. The big chunk of squids were really satisfying

Stopped in for breakfast and got the Mushroom duo, so delicious! The hashbrowns were very oily but tasty and the meals were a good size and were presented nicely on the plate. Loved the outdoor area, just the right amount of sunshine and breeze while looking out at the lake. Great time

Good view and food except for the really dry sausage. Queue was quite long early morning, an elderly lady pushed in line and the only staff outside kitchen was too busy to notice

I order a soy milk flat white and the coffee tasted pretty bad. My friend didn’t like poached eggs and wanted to change to scramble for his meal, but they said they can’t do that for the lunch time. I can’t understand why they couldn’t make scramble eggs instead off the poached. When they delivery the food. The waiter was really rude when he took our table number. We wait quite long time for our steak, and ask them why it takes so long. The way they told us was rude and inpatient. These two stars gave to their backyard view.

Went here because had some decent vegetarian options (hard to find in NZ) as my girlfriend is veggo. She had a vegetarian burger with lashings of beetroot relish, aioli and a delicious bun -- it was the best veggie patty burger she had in NZ. The thrice cooked chips were like nothing we'd ever tasted before. Like mash on the inside with an extra crispy skin. I had the lamb shanks and the meat just fell off the bone, and the mash was creamy. It was amazing. But we were totally done over by the ricotta doughnuts with dark chocolate dipping sauce, ice cream and berry coulis. I was in actually ecstasy eating that. It was so good we're currently on our way back there on our return road trip :D

Laid back cafe with very good food. We had prawns and mussels, green chicken curry and a veggie burger. They all had great flavor and were a good portion size. The staff is very friendly and service is quick.

Decent cafe in Lake Tekapo. The coffee is a good price and the food is decent. They offer free unlimited wifi and let us charge and work on our laptops undisturbed for a while. Thanks!

A very lovely cafe with good food and decent service. the roasted pork I had was not big portion but it tasted so crispy and juicy with very lovely sweet and tangy mango flavoured sauce (I think it was mango). And the decor looked much better than my photos show

We were impressed by food and staff. They were running late with food and did not get one dish right. But they new they had done wrong and just got on and fixed it. Free drinks and chips for us.
