Couldn’t eat half my steak, potatoes tasted like they were microwaved and vegetables had no flavour. At least the beer was good.

Today i went here with my girlfirend the graclic bread was okay and wedges was fine but needed seasoning and the pizza was horrible. Tasted like it was re heated or just came out of the freezer or them pizzas you get from the supermarket

Had takeaway dinner twice there and it was delicious. Amazing burgers and chips, good vegetarian options. A shame that they didn't make pizzas on that Sunday night, and the staff looked very stressed despite the very few customers. Friday night was very busy but staff was relaxed and served us quickly.

The takeaways are good, they do Thai and fish and chips. Their Blue Cod is also very good.

The place to get Thai and classic Fish and Chips from in Twizel. They are also able to smoke any fish caught in the canals which is great if you are traveling through on a fishing trip.

Food and service were amazing. Some of the best food I've eaten in the South Island at a very affordable price (even for a backpacker). Really nice atmosphere, cold beers and everything salmon!

Best value and service I've experienced in NZ so far, tucked away in Twizel. Have been there 3 nights in a row, and all of the staff have been amazing. They are really understanding about food intolerances and we're happy to alter the menu to fit them, much better than any of the tourist areas. I'm really impressed.
