Such a fantastic place for coffee and breakfast. The coffee is the best I have had here in NZ (and i love my coffee so that is a compliment!) And the gluten free savory feta and pepper pesto muffin served warm with butter was gorgeous. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. Gluten free options are available. Would definitely recommend.

Went to stay at Kiakoura to support the community and the recovery from the EQ. We have had so many happy times here before the EQ and having lived through Chch EQ's know how it is. The visit was mixed emotions as the accommadation "Wacky Stays" was the worst overnight stay ever. Nothing to do with EQ just owner did not clean or prepare for visit.Anyway that is another Story. We went to Hislops and we just want to say "A BIG THANK YOU" - the whole experience here, helped get back the holiday! The Staff were one of the most professional and friendly staff I have experienced 10 / 10 guys - you were well informed on what you served and your knowledge on the wine was exceptional. My daughters, Tamsyn, Amy and Donna (future in-law) just loved the experience. The food was just Gold Star. I would suggest people go for a visit even if they were not into organic. Thank you again, you saved what was a disaster into a happy memory for my daughters and myself. :)

Great venue, with great atmosphere and lovely staff. Their breakfasts are to die for, and their coffee , well, you'd kill for it. Seriously good coffee!
