  GOOD, ALTHOUGH I WASN'T WARE THAT THEY DIDN'T MAKE THE BEDS FOR THE CLIENTS. WE CAME BACK AND THE BED WAS UN MADE. IF I NEW THAT I WOULD HAVE MAD, MY BED MYSELF. I SHALL MAKE SURE TO READ THE RULES NEXT TIME.
  IT WAS MY 1st EXPERIENCE STAYING HOTELS, MOTELS THAT THEY DIDN'T MAKE BEDS.

  My partner and I were at raglan to get married. We stayed at the sunset motel with at least 20 of our family and friends. What a awesome place it is clean and tidy, handy to everything. Great courtyard to socialize in and the owners could of done more for us or been any friendlier. We stayed there for 7 days and we're very impressed with our whole experience. We highly recommend the sunset motel thanks so much.

  Excellent location for exploring Raglan. Only 2 blocks from downtown, plenty of near by restaurants and shops.

  Nice location and friendly staff but they really need to update their bed mattresses. They feel and look like they are left overs from the 90s! They provided a very uncomfortable sleep. Not good enough for the price paid!

  Our first time staying here, we had an upstairs room that you could see the sea just behind the Fire Station.
  
  The room was clean and tidy, with all the essentials for some very basic cooking in the room. This area was a little dark and could do with an overhead light. The king size bed was nice and soft with additional pillows stored in the cupboard along with a few coat hangers, ironing board and iron.
  
  We had Sky TV including the "normal" movie channels. Free WiFi is included with a password from Reception, although the coverage was a bit flaky at times.
  
  The shower often went cold whilst using, Shame other guests wanted a shower the same time as me.
  
  For me, the ace up the sleeve here was it's location. A few minutes walked to the centre of Raglan, but far enough away from the noise of bars etc. Although when the local Fire Alarm Station alarm went off, it did sound like it was outside your door.
  
  Would I stay here again, yes I would and I'd try the Spa next time around.
