Freindly and helpfull
We went to the shop to rent a boulder crash pad, this was/is highly overpriced 25 $Nzd / day! I think he just knows there is no other shop that rent crash pads.
I found the shop owner really rude. I know business is business but he could have been nicer. We were travelling with a one year old and he even deny us water and told us to go get it to the town school. Even he had told us several times he lives next door. Very disappointed.
Rock climbing paradise. All the gear.
Don't think the previous reviewer was actually speaking to anyone at Bryce's anyway, the shop is online now.
I was referred to this company by an instructor of our outdoor adventure leadership skills course. Their website stated they were launching an online shop soon, so I called them up and asked when this e-shop would be online. The salesman had no idea and responded "I can't help you""goodbye" without even making an attempt to astertain what I wanted to buy. Obviously new business is not important to them, and I will happily go elsewhere, but I am unhappy that I wasted my time specifically calling this company on the basis of the referral. My rating = poor.
The center of North Island climbing. Prefect place to stay if climbing in the Wharepapa region. Close to tons of different crags. Cheap rooms, food, advice, gear and cool boulder cave. The perfect climbing basecamp.
