We went here for dinner. It was lovely, the staff were great, as was the boat ride. A must do when you are in the Sounds. Hopefully next visit we can stay longer.
Fantastic! I'd love to go back for an overnight stay.
Lovely scenery, great food, very nice rooms. It's like a 5 star hotel in the NZ bush! You can kayak, bike, walk and do other great outdoor activities around the area.
Brilliant meal and show deal.Fine food and service then a great 2 hours of listening to Bryce Wastney & Ryan Beehre.Gorgeous place
Enjoyed the perfect escape from everyday life. Extensive refurbishments in 2014/2015. Seaview room, with its own deck, was perfect for soaking up the atmosphere. The restaurant offered quality meals using fresh produce. Was able to relax in the lounge in front of the fire after being indulged with a luxurious massage.
14 guest rooms, 1 tv room (no tv in rooms), and 1 restaurant, that is it. There are no swimming pool and gym, but they offer kayaks, fishing equipment and mountain bikes for free during the day. The mini fridge in the room is very noisy considering all quite around, better to turn off during sleep. The water taxi is monopoly for this lodge. $60 return per person of 10mins one way trip is very expensive. The restaurant food is very good. Quality fresh food with delicious taste.
