  Nice little airport with plenty of shops to pick up a few present before heading away including Patagonia Chocolates. The drop off zone was recently done up so it looks nicer now.

  I was here in Aug 2017 & enjoyed the winter decorations around the warm interior of the light & airy building. Wide range of shops. Really busy terminal with a surprisingly small number of seats in the main terminal before departure screening. They could also do with more seats in their departure lounge too.

  its to small. its nice but not enough seats and not letting international through security until 90 minutes before? i just want to sit down and chill. maybe a casual stroll through duty free before my flight not fight for a seat in domestic buying drinks i cant clear customs with.

  Good selection of food and drink! Tiny little airport but does the trick, pitty the toilets where so disgusting I refused to use them! Might not be like that all the time though

  Friendly staff. Pleasant experience of both arrival and departure. Funny thing to watch when some passengers wanted to take pictures as soon as they got off the plane but the airport staff not letting them do, maybe they wanted people out of the runway as soon as possible. So this is a caution for the others visiting the airport for the first time.

  Convenient location and prices weren't bad to/from Auckland. They run a good operation with well staffed security and comfortable waiting areas. They kept the planes on time pretty well.

  Small airport but exquisite and easy to access. With the descending horizons in the sky you can see the lake Wakatipu and snow on the mountain tops.

  Small airport, easy to navigate, breathtaking views. Car rental and baggage claim are a few seconds walk from the gate. Not many food options, but the Airspresso restaurant in the arrivals area is pretty good.

  Flew with Virgin Australia to Brisbane and it was great! Security was quick hardly any line. Customs was also very fast too! Great experience and would definitely fly through Queenstown again.

  Poor level of service considering the crowds. Two cafes for food only, one does not do food. Dated, asbestos ceilings. No water fountains following security check means hundreds of people per day are captive to buy the airports overpriced bottled water.
  
  Traveling to over 20 countries and hundreds of airports, this is one of the worst.
  
  Good lighting in the departure areaone plus.
