Very good wheelchair access. Bathrooms are clean and big enough for wheelchairs. Staff are friendly and helpful for wheelchair boarding. Typical small Airport, a forklift and Isle chair is used to board, so this can be unpleasant in bad weather.
Excellent customer service at baggage drop off! We were running late with a toddler and a newborn in tow and the Air NZ staff helped us pack our pram and car seat into those awkward black bags.
Amazing airport, great service and nice cafes planes are usually on time or a little late. Great airport.
Nice clean airport. A good selection of shops and food. Baggage claim was nice and quick.
Small airport but very confortable.
I found staff to be friendly and helpful. Here's a tip, get a super shuttle for $25 to Dunedin city centre and NOT a taxi for $85. I assume the same saving will apply wherever you are going to. You will see them outside if you walk towards 'car rentals'.
For a small town it has a good sized koru lounge
For a small regional airport, it is well designed and comfortable. The toilets are huge and environmentally conscious. I am in this airport almost every week, fetching or dropping my husband. I travel often and have left my car in the carpark with no problem. It is sometimes cheaper to do it this way than taking the shuttle. The airport is a bit far from the city so you need a lot of time to schedule your trip to the airport. The cab or shuttle services are good in informing the passenger when booking by phone. This airport has served my family very well.
The boarding gate holding pen (for want of a better name) at this airport is utterly abysmal. It is small and cramped with hardly enough seating and there are no toilets. Poor design places it in the corner of the main dinning area. Sort it out dunedien.
Good cafes and book Shop. Friendly staff too
A few good cafes while you're waiting. Not generally very busy.
