Very interesting and informative. Gives alot of info about the 2011 quke in particular and all the sesmic movement in Canterbury in general. Worth the 20$. Have 1 floor of exhibit, walkthrough is between 45mins and an hour in a casual pace.

A well designed innovative museum with staff that are full of interesting recollections. Well worth the $20 and if done at a moderate pace can be done within 20 minutes.

Very good. At $20 per person more of a tourist attraction than memorial or information centre. Interesting though. Personal accounts are moving.

Interesting and informative. Saddening but slightly heartening, too. Quite a lot fits into what looks like just a small sliver of shop frontage. Well worth the lowish entry price.

Very good place to learn from what happened in 2010 and 2011 in Christchurch. But I felt it was missing information. I finally left from the museum with the feeling I just seen again what I already knew. Maybe it's just me.

Very interesting and moving museum. We only had paid for 3h of parking so we had to leave then, but I guess we could have spent another hour.
Of course there are more and less interesting parts, but you will learn a lot about quakes in the ChCh area, liquefaction and about the people and fates of the 2011 earthquake.
Not everything might be suitable for children though, especially the video with interviews of victims contains some rough stuff.
