  We loved our stay here! The service was kind and very helpful. Our room was clean, comfortable, and stocked with many luxuries. The hotel went above and beyond to make our stay feel special. The restaurant was absolutely delicious — some of the best food we’ve had in NZ. We highly recommend this spot!

  Absolutely amazing hotel!! Stayed in the lake king room and would definitely book it again. Friendly staff and awesome breakfast. In particular we loved the bar at the hotel. Fantastic cocktails and again, friendly staff!!

  Rooms are great, spacious with that cool QT vibe. Floorboards also welcome as I prefer it to carpet. Bed super comfy, the kind you sink into. Good sitting area as well. The bathroom is pretty special, huge walk in shower and a free-standing tub. The double sink vanity is a little high, I’m short so the raised bowl sink wasn’t ideal for me to wash my face etc. but I’m on the shorter side.
  Bar food tasty, the menu could have more options on it. Great views out to the lake from Reds.
  The parking is tricky, doesn’t seem to be enough for all guests and street parking is limited.
  The pool is small but lovely, it’s heated so enjoyable even in cooler teams. Weather was in the single digits when I was there and pool felt nice and warm. Signage for the pool is non-existent so I had to ask staff. Also a special keycard is needed for entry which wasn’t explained so after finding the pool, I had to go back up to reception to enquire how to gain entry as room keys don’t work. Small details but at a 5-star hotel the expectation is that these things would be explained at check in or at list info available in room.
  Overall lovely stay just a few little issues but nothing to effect the time there

  Johnny is the highlight of my stay in QT hotel. He went out of his way to find me a room with a great view !!! He was so patient even he had a rough shift that day due to some unexpected events the night before. I would definitely recommend it !!! The hotel room view is amazing!! Over looking the lake and snow mountains. They pay attention to all the small details in the room to make my stay pleasant ❤️

  The staff are excellent, professional and super helpful. The room cleaning service is immaculate. Bathrooms are awesome with a large rain shower and huge bath tub. The decor is modern and the view is fantastic. The room has everything you need and the TV has plenty of entertainment. There is no exhaust in the toilet which can lead to a stale smelling room at times.
  
  Included was a buffet breakfast which was delicious - my only qualm would be to have more rotation in their hot meal options. The staff at the breakfast and bar are awesome as well.
  
  All in all, a great place to stay.
