We went here expecting some good honest pub food that was above average, but the food was actually below average. Although it wasn't horrible, it wasn't worth the money we paid, as we'd expect it to be restaurant quality for their prices. Recommend this place just for some beers and a lunch at best. But, the staff and service was 5 star, food was 2 star.

Nice place, beer is cold, but fries and wedges are way over priced!

I ordered the $18.00 fish and chips. It was plain to see when it delivered to our table that it would at best be worth $5 or that a mistake was made and I received the kids portion. Not happy with the size and felt ripped off and did advise the staff, no discount..we in total spent $106.00. Never again.

Fantastic evening at Ploughmans. Awesome food, the loveliest staff, quick service. A great cosy English style pub, kid friendly.

Garlic bread was nice but it didn't make up for the bad experience my family and I had here. Service was very poor, we weren't looked after and felt ignored. We could see the waiters standing around talking to each other and on their phone often. We weren't given side plates with our entree and had to ask for these and for more water at the table. My mothers meal was very bad, she ordered scallops which were dry and overcooked. Our vegetables looked like they had been microwaved and were from a frozen mixed vegetable packet. We weren't asked if we were enjoying our meals or if we needed anything else while we were eating. The first drinks we ordered came straight away but when we finished we weren't asked if we wanted another drink and it took a long time to come. Overall I wouldn't go back here again from this experience. There wasn't any music playing in the background also.

Garlic bread amazing. Arancini balls were well made with the nicest dipping sauce. Staff were well mannered and friendly. Great atmosphere. Good beer. Generous portion sizes, with equality good quality.

Good service but the meals we ordered weren't great. My steak was nice, my wife's lamb shank wasn't the best and my sons beef burger was inedible. Pretty disappointed with the meal quality.

The venison pie is the best pie i have had, meat that is so soft it melts in your mouth and the flavour is fantastic! Good service also and very nice homebrew lager & stout. Value for money, there are very nice mains for $25 and daily specials for $20, tonight was a thick Sirloin steak which was a hit with our group.
