This is a free service and great idea of the people.of New Zealand. Thwy offer reasonable tours that beat the Cruise ship prices going and coming. They also offer free WiFi at most of their place around NZ.

Had all that was needed but lacked some southern initiative in being helpful especially since I was raised in the area

Went there on Sunday and met a lovely young girl - Gloria if I have recalled her name correctly - she went out of her way to help me with my queries. She checked modes of transportation/cost & scheduled time of interislander ferry crossings.

Then on Monday when I returned to book my travel - I had someone by the name of Ruby who served me - she ended up giving me a printout of payment for interisland day excursion trip with dates of travel. When I conveyed my misgivings over the printout which did not have my name but only an expiry date - she dismissed it as nothing to be concerned. When I asked further about buses in drop off destination - she basically told me to check with people at drop off point in Wellington.

On Tuesday morning at the Interisland ferry terminal I learn that no booking was made under my name for the day trip despite collection of payment by Isite office staff Ruby on Monday. What a shock I had but fortunately the ticketing lady at the ferry terminal took the trouble to verify the payment part and issued a set of tickets for me.

This incident is most regrettable as I have had good experiences with Isite offices & officers elsewhereand I do wish the staff concerned would look into why this has happened. Please take steps to rectify such errors which can cause much difficulty to visitors especially new tourists. Thank you.Regards well wisher
