Our group was charged $650 for 2 scratches that we didn't put on the vehicle. They charged the credit card without contacting the renter first. Then we were notified with an email that money had already been charged for damages. This is for a vehicle they had accepted back into their inventory without commenting on any issues. What a pain.

We got charged $650 for 2 scratches that we didn't put on the vehicle. They charged my credit card without contacting me first. They would not provide any photos of the vehicle in the before conditions and they accepted the vehicle back as not damaged and later changed their minds (particularly shady, as the vehicle was washed so no scratches could have been hidden by dirt). If you rent with these guys, take professional photos on both ends of every inch of the vehicle and ensure you protect yourself in every way you can.

They accepted the car back as in good condition (as it was in good condition) then took money of credit card later for some apparent *scratches* they cannot prove were by us (they wont even show us photos of the supposed damage) - its apparently up to us as the customer to take photos/videos of everything to protect ourselves - and the customer service around the sudden charge was pretty rude an abrupt! WOULD NOT RECCOMEND

Great service and premo vehicle. Sara and Waka were friendly and helpful with the booking, even picking me up from the airport with a bike box in tow for the Heaphy track. The depot is less than a k from the terminal. Car was spotless ( brand new in fact). Highly recommended. Thanks guys!

I got stuck in Nelson when I had an issue with the car rental company I had booked with. But Sarah came to my rescue. She listened to my dilemma and said no problem, i have a car for you. Then she picked me up from the airport gave me a nice tidy little car at a really good price. Service was impeccable both at pick up and drop off. Forever grateful and I will definitely be back in the future.

We hadn't arranged a rental car before coming to Nelson but after a visit to the I Site Centre we thought we should get a car for a few days to have a really good look around the local area. Made some calls and went with Pegasus as the lady was really helpful. We were picked from our motel which I thought was really good of them to do for us. I was telling everyone about being picked from motel and my son finally said "mum they have a free transfer to and from accommodation between 8am and 6pm it's right here on the flyer" so mum was the on going joke for a few days. Car was clean and price was good too. I would hire from Pegasus again I found the couple very nice and easy to deal with the Frost family wish you all the best for the future.

This was the best rental car experience we've ever had - Sarah and Walker went above and beyond to be extremely helpful. Sarah picked us up directly from the Nelson airport with no delay, and she and Walker were incredibly flexible in accommodating the reservation to a change in our plans. They were also both very friendly - offering us much needed advice on our trip and helping us navigate the Interislander ferry. The car was also great - clean, small (perfect size for the winding roads we drove on), and in new condition. Can't say enough good things - definitely recommend!

Pick-up and drop-off was efficient, quick and friendly. Owners were really helpful - lots of tips and suggestions for the journey. Car was clean, comfortable and reliable (and red!). Great value for money, great service - will definitely use them again.
