Best computer and electronic store in Wellington. Knowledgeable staff, great selection of products that you won't find elsewhere. Reminds me in many ways of going into an electronics store in Singapore or Hong Kong. Much better than the more general stores like Noel Leeming.

parking can be a hit and miss round the back.
when attempting to get help from the staff sometimes really good sometimes not so good. better to do your home work prior to going there so you at least you know what your after. Prices are usually pretty good. website shows what stock they have in hand at you local store

Ordered a part from head office which was in stock. time period was 4 days for arrival. I asked every day for an update to when the part will arrive in wellington, they kept saying next day. Finally got communication that the part was being ordered from overseas and will take 6 weeks, after waiting for a 1 week! If they didn't have the part it would have been fine to let me know the next day. Very poor communication. No genuine sense of remorse from staff. This is how they treat someone who spends $6000 per year there.

Great guys that work there, what let's the place down is no 0800 number for help or assistance, the phone connects to the service department which we have been told by staff slows them down taking phone calls and interrupts every job they undertake, giving the chance for a mistake to happen while they work. Support your staff better. Terrible customer relations work on your communication!!

Used to love this place, recently gone downhill. Went in today to buy a new phone. The one we were looking at was flat, sales guy said it was like all other android phones and not to fuss. Well why would I spend $1000 then if I can get a $60 unit.

Staff were very helpful in helping get my PC parts. Ethan found a deal for better prices on my goods which meant I could buy more. Drew helped me carry the parts to my apartment when I couldn't carry them myself.

Great shop, good and cheap for anything technology. Awesome kind and friendly staff. I found that nearly all the items where cheaper than Harvey Norman. Great store for gamers with a wide range of gaming apparel. Highly recomend shopping here. 👍

Disappointed with the level of support offered. Purchased a three year extended warranty but had issues with network card within the first month of purchase. Tried to contact support over the course of 3 months - ended up getting another company to fix it. 5 months later they finally respond to my inquiry only to be told they can't do anything about it, despite providing a professional repair report from a reputable company that demonstrated a faulty network card. Very hesitant to recommend, I am still waiting a response to my email sent 3 weeks ago. Can never reach the servicing department - they never return phone calls and only received 2 responses to nearly a dozen inquiries sent over 5 months. Not recommended.

They can't do enough to help you in this store and you don't have to be a tech geek to get great service. The only store I shop at in Welly for computing gear. Great place.

Possibly the best computer store in Wellington in terms of pricing and stock in store. Been in a number of times over last 2-3 years. Their customer service is very hit or miss. Couple of guys there are great - friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable, the rest give the impression they're there against their will. Probably understaffed, as there is always a wait, service/repairs can be painfully slow, even answering the phone takes them an age.

Friendly, knowledgeable and approachable staff who are exceedingly helpful and skilled. Repair was completed very quickly. They even sorted out the cable spaghetti inside my pc and gave me some mounting screws for my cooling system. They also have a great product range and prices (both in store and online) and do in store pickup. Highly recommended.

Great computer store with wide range of products. Prices are very good too. Not the cheapest of the cheap but then nothing beats being able to talk to friendly, knowledgeable staff for advice and returns can be done on site if you have problems.

I have always got excellent experience from both Sales and Service.
Service is especially highly commended. I have had my fair share of warranty issues with motherboards, RAM and cards. Things are made cheap nowadays. However, PB Tech has always rectified issues with minimal or no fuss. I would go PB Tech for the after sales service alone. They stand behind what they sell, period.
