Very overpriced meals for what you get, one rude staff member pretty much telling us to go pay as soon as we had finished eating so we could leave, Never again

Such a great friendly pub with awesome food , everything cooked perfectly from scratch. Good accommodation everything was addiquit and seemed clean and tidy. Highly recommended.

We held a work function here in August which was fantastic. So many accommodation options to cater to a large number of staff. Kirsty and the team at the lodge couldn't have been more helpful with planning and making the event flow with ease. Our meals for lunch, dinner and breakfast were well organised, delicious and there was certainly plenty to go around. The lodgings were kept really warm even though it was the middle of winter and the bar was well stocked with staff who kept an energetic bunch well under control. If you want somewhere for team building and a good round of golf, you'll be in great hands with the team at Otematata who will give you a classic 'Kiwi' experience.

Hearty pub food in big portions, delicious cold beer poured through clean lines, great service and wonderful owners who looked after us like their own. We'll be back as much as we can!

I've stopped in a couple of times now for a meal and have been happy on both occasions. Sure there's still room for improvement, but it's rural bar food not fine dining.

Very uncomfortable noisy hotel with old furniture, lack of sound isolation. Price is too high for such terrible accomodation.

Absolutely awful service. Plus the owner was extremely rude to some customers sitting next to us asking about the wait times on some food. There is a reason that the locals don't ever drink here. Avoid at all costs. Drive onto Omarama.
