Came in the morning to grab something for breakfast, tried the quiche and pies, all delicious. Can't help myself to come back and get the second quiche for lunch

Pleasant visit, piping hot scrumptious pies and the distinctive baking aroma that makes any food lover salivate. Customer service was delightful and would happily return again.

Love this Bakery! Always stop on the way through Wairoa. Food is brilliant and staff always friendly :) Today was extra busy but was expected with the Gisborne Gorge closed and travellers diverted.

Food nice. Service slow. Cafe side of bakery the staff are friendly often not so on the take -out side.

Used to be the best bakery in New Zealand, couldn't beat their pies or filled rolls. Both service and food has dropped since going under new ownership :(

The best sausage roll I have had for a long time. Much better than the ones around Auckland.
We hoped to try your pies but it was the end of the day and you had sold out. So went for the sausage roll and so pleased I did. Very nice.
We found the service was prompt and friendly. -

Not bad, but not fantastic either. Got the $4 Mince pie and 300ml Drink Combo. Other pies were $3.60 to $5. Had to wait in line 10 minutes as this place is so popular. Curious that they won all those awards from 2002 to 2010 and yet don't seem to win anything now.
