  A must visit, especially the cafe. Wish the toilet light can last longer and more dump station for campers. Only 1 hot shower facility for male.

  Orton Bradley has long been a favorite of ours for family outings. Great walks, in amongst beautiful old trees including Rhododendrons in spring. Stunning setting for the cafe which has good food and coffee at reasonable prices.

  Apart from the annual summer fair, I still enjoy getting around the rhododenron gardens and out back for walks and camping

  Stayed at a powered site in off-season. There was no one else here. My daughter loved the playground and we enjoyed the beautiful and quiet ambience. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to stay close to Christchurch without being too close. Note: Gates are only open 8am to 5:30pm.
