Tv didnt work $90 per night a bit excessive for two adults just 4 one night! Shower was lovely

This campground was obviously once a very cool place. but it's very tired now.
The showers were Luke warm at best and that sucks when a hot shower is the main reason you chose to stay here instead of a free location somewhere else.
The bikers staying in the cabins blaring their music like they own the place is very disrespectful too.
Wouldn't stay again sadly.

Me and my wife stayed there a few years ago.we did not get to stay the hole night as the window in the unit we were staying in was loose and we had an unwanted visitor come in the room i tried to tell the owner no one was contactable so we left around 1am .it has been a long time but somethings you remember

It's incredible that we have made a comment here in google maps and the lady called us regarding our comment just to let us know that she will notice to all the campgrounds about us. The Site assignment to put our tend was actually stinky because of a small creek along the back that's why we decided to move our tent, then the girl came to us again and the only word that I said to her was "take it easy", and she got crazy. We have been traveling in nz around 4 months and this is the first time that we have had any problems here even though our English is bad. Now we are staying in another campground with good people. The facilities are ok. In the app *wiki camps* think the same

The girl at the reception was the worst, we put our tend in the wrong place and she came to us angry/mad and expelled us from the place, the holiday park is ok, just the girl in the front desk. stay away from her.

A pleasant stay camping in a tent. Facilities were good and some good attempts had been made to spruce up the walls of the facilities with drawings from local schoolkids. Owners were very accommodating and allowed us to leave our car overnight while we cycled up the Motu Rd and back down the gorge.
