This cafe is my local favourite. The great coffee is always consistently good, all the staff are very friendly and the cafe has a great vibe. Highly recommend.

Had a pretty decent breakfast. Eggs Benedict was spot on. They even exchanged fried tomato for extra kransky sausage at no extra cost.
Only downside, coffee was a bit cold. Better to make your coffee on the warm side, it is a cold winter.

Decent coffeelovely counter cabinet food yummy baking good selection of healthy menu items. Wasn't quite sure if the Paleo breakfast was my kind of thing but very nice chilled out café with nice friendly staff..

funny thing is i read the other reviews and thought maybe i was eating at another place. Seriously though i was at Okra. I counted the staff and there appeared to be more staff than customers. we were a group of 6 adults and two kids. Sure there were at least 6+ staff members. When arrived have one bottle of water and a couple of glasses put out. I didn't mind just grabbing some more glasses but was told they would bring over extra water and glasses10 mins later??? really for water? Let me say the food was good. Funny thing though was the muffins or whatever that were served were not heated and they did not bring out butter had to ask for them to do this - was not offered which again took time. Essentially the service sucked big time. I have been to other places with half the staff and twice as good service so what gives? ONE word summary - INATTENTIVE

The food is amazing but the place is unfortunatly infested with flies currently. Rating will change when they sort it out. Decor could do with some work too. A quick coat of paint and a design change and Okra could easily compete with Petit Bocal down the road. Currently people would rather wait 30 mins for a seat at Petit than go straight in to Okra. I would be very easy to change this.

Good coffee and lovely food. I have been here twice now and both times I have left a satisfied customer, all thanks to the high quality of staff who are very welcoming and friendly. The hashbrowns are amazing.
