Gorgeous little cafe found on the way to Mata Mata to visit the Hobbit movie set. It's around half way from Auckland to Mata Mata which was the perfect stop off point for a bite to eat for breaky and a coffee. Great espresso with my scrambled eggs, bacon and toast. Yummmmm!

Really enjoyed out stop in at Native Tree Cafe. The range of CuppaCoffee cups brought with a free coffee were a treat. Tasty food and good coffee. Thanks for the hospitality!

Love the setting. Right by main road but far enough away to not even realize it. Food good. Has a range of preserves that are great for gifts. Flavours that are a bit different.

Nice and relaxed cafe setting. Good place for families while out on a road trip. Nice shaded play area as well as tables and chairs for the adults. Parking also good just behind the store pretty secure too.

Pretty good for a country caf. A big food selection is backed up by speedy service and enough skill to make a coffee properly.
The food offerings are simpler than you'd see in the city but still make for a good breakfast or dinner. Lots of space makes it ideal for big groups, and fences ensure kids won't get out.
Also have a good range of food products to augment the pantry.

Very pleasant atmosphere. Coming home from Auckland airport and desperate for a coffee. Called in to this wee gem of a place! Lovely outdoor seating. Dog friendly , great service.

Great spot to stop while on a drive! Good coffee, meat pies, and baked treats! Huge outdoor patio and fun staff. Enjoy!

Great place to stop on the road nice food. Would give 5 stars if they wouldn't have started spraying fly repellant/poison nearby while we were eating. A bit of a shame, but they stopped and apologised when they noticed us.

Ambiente is top. The coffee is awesome and the staff nice and kind. Take a breack in this lovely coffee, when not you would miss something.

The home made pies are very good, prices have gone up since I was here last. Gluten free options are available. Lots of seating outside under a water proof cover that was tested when I was there. The queue for the two unisex toilets can take a while when the place is busy. But over all a lovely place with a nice feel.
