  I learned so much here about the Maori people and fell in love with our wonderful tour guide Shiloh as he shared his vast culture with us. He opened his home to us, literally. A first hand way to learn about the past, present and future.

  I visited the Maori Cultural Center in 1980 and it was a ice changing experience. I very much enjoyed the pride of the Maori people and their friendly welcome.
  I left the country from the airport with a number of families who drove me to the airport and sang beautiful farewell songs.
  I returned to my country and set out with renewed vigour as an artist and I continue this journey thanks to the people of Rotorua and the Maori Cultural Center.
