Lonestar is awesome friendly staff fabulous meals. A real must if you are visiting New Plymouth.

Excessively loud music so conversation was hard. Tables crammed in together which is a bit claustrophobic. Food is ok.

The staff are very friendly, must be amongst the best restaurant in New Plymouth, good variety of food incl venison, the steak are not over cooked, it will be even better if they incl wagyu beef.

Great service indeed. Went there on a very busy night (after the rugby) and had the manager come up and ask if we would be happy to have a table in the bar area, as the wait would be over 30 min if not. We were more than happy to do it, and we had our own waitress, who was dedicated to our table. The food arrived promptly and was superb. A great experience overall.
