Slow service. Took a while to even be acknowledged because I was getting a take away coffee
Always excellent. A great place for coffee and breakfast.
Fantastic, table service makes it easy to keep your dog comfy while ensuring humans eat too
Went for brunch for the first time and got scones takeaways which was wrapped in piece of tissue and was placed into 'used' plastic bag. Would not recommend this place to anyone else
Ordered bacon banana maple pancakes, expecting a nice thin freshly cooked pancake. Instead got 3 large pikelet like things which I suspect had been precooked and heated in microwave. When I pointed this out the waitress gave an embarrassed smile and whispered sorry. No follow up. Noone seemed to notice I had left most of my "pancakes" uneaten. Bacon was ok. Banana raw but right amount of ripeness. 2 friends' eggs benedict nice but only one small slice of toast. Overpriced.
We won't go back
Superb meal, I loved my risotto and Den loved his fillet steak. Nice sized meals. Delicious desserts to follow, creme brulee and pear tartare. Highly recommend if you enjoy quality food. Lovely relaxing ambience
Lovely setting on oriental parade. The fish was fresh and cooked just right. Friendly staff and you won't find a better spot for lunch. Cafe is spotlessly clean and you will love the atmosphere. Scotties Rentals is proud to recommend Vista.
Nice place for a coffee, has inside and outside seating, if you want to talk or meet, inside, the cars and buses going past makes it hard to hear
Great food and lovely location beside the waterfront
Coffee was too hot and burned. Ordered another one and had to tell her how hot to make it. Most cafes would make a free replacement but she charged for another one. Won't go back. Seems strange in the world of customer experiences
Vista is a great cafe with fresh food and lovely coffee. The service is always excellent. Located across from Oriental Bay, it's a great lunch option for a sunny day to be able to cross the road and have a walk along the boardwalk.
Called in one morning for tea and toast. Explained to the waiter (who was doing his best interpretation of an automaton) that my wife had brought her own spread due to dietary issues, and I only required marmalade with mine. Minute teapot arrived which we had to get refilled to get just two small cups of tea each! Toast was fine. What wasn't fine was the $30.00 that this very standard light breakfast cost us. These people need to brush up on both their customer service and pricing
