Excellent service. Clean and comfortable rooms with a great view! The hot tub at the back was perfect for unwinding after a busy day out!

Excellent! Well appointed. High standard apart from the spa bath had a fault so we couldn't use it. It didn't spoil our enjoyment of course!

The BEST accommodation I have stayed in New Zealand! The couple are very welcoming and detailed explanation to us what is there in the vicinity which restaurant is worth visiting and what's around us upon checking-in will fill us with all the information that we need (e.g. Parking spaces, wifi and etc).
The room that we got is facing directly Taupo lake and we have a great time there! We got the premium 2bedrm apartment which comes with a jacuzzi tub IN THE ROOM After the Tongariro walk WE really need a warm tub to soak in suggestion for additional night explore lake Taupo and to soak all the fatigue away.
The Motel is situated away from the busy area, where we like it that way (less crowd) probably 15mins walk (with luggage) from the i-site that allows us to board the InterCity buses to bring us to Wellington.response / report this review -

Rooms are nice and spacious but a few things let it down.
•The curtains were mouldy and damaged
•The fridge wasn't the best and froze food
•The bedroom was lit up with street lights

Great accommodation for a lads trip to Fieldays. Clean tidy and staff were friendly. Showers were very tiny. But clean, No sky in our room but I don't blame them as sky extorts these small motels. Quite a cool place for young family as they have a pool in summer and it's close to mini put.

(+) Got a room with a great view of the lake. Our room also had menus for a few restaurants in town, which helped us to decide where to go in advance- this saved us a a fair bit of time.

A great two bedroom apartment, stayed for one night. We where a late arrival and the staff has turned on the heating. Or apartment overlooked the lake and was very spacious. Very close to the main Taupo centre.

Great package for price and location. Lake views, easy walking distance to town/cafes/restaurants/movies. Owners were helpful and very pleasant. Clean, good space and facilities. Would definitely stay here again.
