Clean, immaculate gardens, and plenty of space in the room. Wish we could have stayed more than 1 night.

Spectacular lake views, five minutes walk from/to town center and not mentioning the friendly staff. Highly recommended place to stay in for couple of days on the way to Milford sound.

Great stay - owners polite & helpful - the whole property is well looked after - rooms fresh and clean - ideal floor plan - sit on the front balcony & overlook the manicured lawns, the foreground to the lake and mountains. Very reasonable rates in comparison to others - Thanks for a comfortable stay .. Anthony & Andrea 🤓

The Lakeside Motel is just across the road from the lake. We had an upstairs one bedroom apartment facing the lake.
The view is great and the motel is not too close to the "busy" part of town.
The amenities like the toilet are a bit dated, but clean. I appreciated the in-room plunger coffee.
One minus is the lack of a net curtain on the doors or windows since you are facing the busy Lakefront Drive.response / report this review -

Neat and tidy. We where lucky to get an upgrade to the apartments when we booked a two bedroom cabin. Unsure why but appraitated. stunning views good location and friendly helpful service.

Nice units with short walk to shops. Friendly staff who are very helpful. Place is slightly dated but still a comfortable place to stay with milford sound in mind

Very clean, warm and comfortable rooms. Well equipped kitchen, spare beds, beautiful view. Shower clean and strong and it had a hairdryer!
