  Not the most beautiful place, but a friendly atmosphare, unlimited WiFi anf cheap for longer stays.

  The place has a homely feel about it and had everything you would expect of a backpackers, free tea & coffee was great! but have to agree with Silvia Simondo, the owner had too much of a footprint in common areas for my liking and some of the girls in our group were a little curious as why this was necessary given everyone was just relaxing and chilling after a busy day out and a busy day ahead. did meet some really neat travelers there.

  I recommend this BBH. Owners are very friendly and help you when you need. Place are quiet (not like the Windsor), we feel at home.

  Brilliant time here! We are kiwis hiking the north island and Keith (owner) has a lovely spot to put up your tent with use of all the amenities (shower and kitchen were a blessing!). Keith is very kind and caring going out of his way to help all his visitors including giving people rides to town (not sure what the post below is about he is not crazy or stingy at all, unless kindness is crazy!) All visitors tidy and friendly, we really enjoyed our stay here and would recommend to anyone.

  terrible!!!! The owner is complitely crazy,he hang around all day looking at what are u doing if you clean if not,you try to turn on the heating and is probably behind your back sayng to you that with 10 degrees there is no reason to use it!!!!!!!!! After 9 pm you can t even have a conversation because "is time to go to bed" . i think you should change the sign backpacker with guest house because you have no idea a
  how to run buisness with young backpackers!!! and you are such a stingy person!!!!!!!!

  Fantastic place! More than I expected of a back Packers. Staff are friendly and helpful and the rooms have everything you need. I will definitely be back.
