Excellent campsite just on the west coast of Arthur's Pass. Extremely friendly welcome and having picked out spot, went to see the waterfall and later the glow worms. Loads of them in the forest, well worth the walk. Facilities were some of the best we've come across in NZ so far. Highly recommended

Rude and unkind owners ruin this beautiful place, keep on driving and find a camp site with warm and welcoming owners who deserve your money.

The lady spoke to me in an unwelcoming child like way. She wouldn't let me use the fire place even though it was freezing. She kicked me out of the kitchen and insulted me.

WARNING to all new guests that their clock in the kitchen is forward by 20 minutes so they can kick your out earlier.

Absolutely the rudest owners and experience I've ever had in my entire life. I've never been treated like this before when I'm a paying customer. Terrible customer service and manners.

KEEP ON DRIVING, STAY FAR AWAY!

*WARNING* the owners of this holiday park are EXTREMELY rude. They have zero leniency and compassion. It's very expensive at $44 a night for x2 people on a non powered site which was very muddy and the entire area is one big slope.

But what I want to express is, the people that own this place, their attitude stinks, they spoke to us very rudely in a child like manner and I saw the same happen with other guests.

It was dead cold in the kitchen/ lounge area and they shut down the fire place because supposedly it's summer, it's bloody freezing still. When I asked nicely if they could open it up again she gave me a poor lazy excuse. They probably don't want to pay someone to clean it.

They said checkout is at 10am when they were rudely kicking us out of the kitchen. I never heard her mention it to us and I didn't see a single sign visible in the holiday park.

Her very rude husband said in an insulting manner that if I wanted a shower "How about you pay the cleaner an extra $20 to stand around waiting for you", I was shocked at how they spoke to us, basically like children.

Aggressively rude owners, absolutely ZERO leniency and compassion.

Don't be fooled, the lady owner may seem nice but she's a wolf in sheep's clothing. She's two faced and only smiles because she wants your money, BUT willing to do nothing to help you out.

I can't have a shower while they take an hour to clean the kitchen, unbelievable, terrible customer service.

Do yourself a favour and don't stay at this holiday park because the terrible humans that own it will ruin the experience for you.

IT'S SUCH A SHAME AND DISAPPOINTMENT because all this aside the place has such potential, clean and modern facilities, great location, views and sorrounding rainforest walks.

Lovely lady at reception. Really friendly. The weather was terrible but the holiday park was tidy, clean and had all expected services. Laundry worked well but Wifi was a little low on signal and reasonably expensive. All in all a lovely stay.

Ludicrously friendly service and a lovely site in a nice quiet location. Bonus: there are glow worm dells on the site and are totally worth stumbling through the forest to see!! Highly recommended.

Lovely place and very well up kept. The lodge manager was very good, she was really nice and made us feel more than welcome! At night we took a walk from the back of the lodge into the bush and say the glow worms, this is a must if you stay here, was amazing!
