I would like to say how impressed I was with the treat of being able to attend the Wellington Symphony Orchestra Free Concert at the Walter Nash Stadium a couple of Friday's ago. My 7 year old grandson also really enjoyed it too. How lucky we are to have such talent right on our doorstep. Thank you to the Council for organising this. We look forward to attending again next year.

Lower Hutt city council has not been proactive in adherence to their policies and standards. They have just allowed a prefabricated 86.4 meter square dwelling to be dropped on to a $410000.00 section in Arahiwi grove among amazing $1m+ homes. Home owners in this area have vehicles worth more than the matrix builders shed placed on the site. No doubt our rates will be reduced on the same proportional land to improvement value as the devaluation of the 22 Arahiwi grove site. Council should consider the property owners and how they milk them. Wake up Hutt council.
