Did the 2.5 hour trip. It was lovely seeing the scenery near the riverbed and up the valley. Would recommend trying the overnight trip! It seems so cool!

I whole heartedly recommend the over night ride around Mt. Alfred. We journeyed through varying scenery and landscapes so whole two days were never boring. Our guide Sam was so friendly and knowledgeable of animals and local area she put us right at ease on our horses. One can expect to trot and canter as well, it’ll be a great riding regardless of your riding experience.

We had fantastic experience here for 2.5 hours horse riding. What's more, of great value adding, the farm owner showed us his pets, sheeps, deer and pig! It was the first time we saw sheeps running to us. Totally amazed with this great experience! Recommend the 2.5 hours riding to enjoy the great view of Lord of Ring!

The ride itself was quite nice, the guide was not enthusiastic at all, which is really pity, she could have told the group much more about the scenery and LOTR facts, since it was one of the filming locations. Most of the horses had western saddles, I loved it.

I recommend the Ree river valley tour (2.5h). Amazing landscape! The horses are lovely. The guides are very kind. It's also ok for beginner riders.

    Rees river trail 2시간 반
아름다운 강과 산을 보며 즐거운 시간

    In one word of discontent,
male staff(second team-02:30pm 20 Jan) hit on German girl.
He focused on a private conversation with her and her horse riding.
In addition, he was kind of interested in talking to western people, not Ansian (Chanese & Korean).
So not enough taking care of other gests and horses.

This was one of the highlights of our trip to New Zealand. The guide was incredibly knowledgeable about plant and animal life in the area. My children loved it when the horses ran. The terrain was stunning. Would do this again if we visit again.
