My mate who works here wouldnt give me a discount for Star Wars The Last Jedi. I was looking forward to the movie. I am not happy.
04/10/2017 - It has been nearly 3 years (last visited on 3 Jan 2015) since my last visit to this cinema. Things have changed especially the seating inside each cinema. One thing I noticed was there is plenty of legroom and wide individual seat. The sound system has definitely improved.
However, the seat was not as comfortable as the Reading Cinema (from The Palms). Nonetheless, it was bearable to sit while watching for 1 hour and 41 minutes (+ trailersetc.).
Just like the Reading Cinema, I bought my ticket online. However, unlike Reading Cinema, I was told to have my electronic ticket to be printed out at one of their counters. They said the rules/ procedures have changed this week.
Would I go back to this cinema? Maybe once awhile but definitely not monthly or so (unlike my monthly movie trip to Reading Cinema). Hey, don't let my 2 cents worth of opinion to sway you away from this cinema. Try it and see if you like it or not 😏.
Service - ⭐⭐⭐out of 5 stars.
Atmosphere - ⭐⭐⭐out of 5 stars.
Furniture (i.e. seating) - ⭐⭐⭐out of 5 stars.
Found one of the staff members - a middle aged large lady with glasses - who was the manager to be very accosting and rude. I had forgotten to bring ID, but instead of nicely explaining that I needed it she became instantly aggressive. This lady shouldn't be working in customer service let alone be a manager.
Found staff to be very helpful and pleasing to deal with .
Seats uncomfortable, food way overpriced. Glad they finally caught up with readings on their ticket prices though
Good cinema just need cheaper combos
Very clean cinemas and facilities. Worth spending that little bit extra to enjoy your movie in a bit more peace as the cinema is rarely busy. Alchoholic beverages available.
Solid cinema. Seats are ok and prices aren't too bad. The palms is a bit cheaper but if you're nearby it doesn't matter.
Seating could be a bit roomier to be honest but otherwise just a normal cinema. Warning bring your own drinks, sweets and snacks like all cinemas you're looking at $7 for a large drink, $11 or $12 for a drink and popcorn I think it has been awhile since I bought from there but that's the norm for cinemas if they were cheaper maybe people would buy more.
