  Out of ALL the coffee places I visited while traveling in New Zealand for 10 months, I found this place to be one of the best without a doubt. Not to mention the coffee itself, which is in my humble opinion the best coffee in New Zealand. I can't express myself enough. It's awesome. Go there!

  They know me. Great welcome. Small but world wide visitors. Ferry and rail terminal. Good local support. Gusto Latin for I enjoy. Very true.

  Brown haired women behind the coffee machine was quite rude and also continued to mock our accent. Coming from experiencing such great hospitality in the North Island, we were disappointed for this to be our first experience in the South Island. If the coffee was half decent this would have been overlooked but the truth of the matter is it found its way to the bin after one sip. Overall this "cafe" left a bitter taste in more ways than one.

  The best Thai red chicken curry I have ever had! Thick, creamy sauce, and tender chopped chicken. Service was great too.
