I would not recommend this restaurant at all. It was too costly for the poor quality food and matched wines. The food was ordinary with too many uncomplimentary food blends for the sake of putting too many elements on a plate. The wines were poorly matched with the food. Our first course was a rich soup and was serverd with a Pinot and the next two courses were seafood and served with whites. A very unusual food structure and unfortunately it did not work. A very disappointing dinner and they did no justice to the superb regional wines. Do not waste your time or money. Sorry for the poor review but you really need to review your whole food concept and experience.
We had the 8 course degustation menu with wine matching. This was most likely the best meal I have ever enjoyed. Wonderful food and wine, well presented and a lovely atmosphere. Thanks!
Great food and atmosphere
Delicious 6 course dinner degust with a romantic setting and exceptional service to top off an amazing night. All dishes hit the mark in flavour, texture and portion size! Very very happy and hope to come back next time I'm in NZ!
the degustation menu here was spectacular! The staff were friendly and as we were there on a slower night were happy to explain everything and discuss wine choices with us.
Romantic atmosphere although when we went it was empty making it appear unpopular. Foodwell if you're used to fine dining, drop your expectations for queenstown. The quality wasn't any worse than the other "fine dining" joints like rata, but the bar is very very very low.
